In Silo 18, shock and unrest take hold in the wake of Juliette doing what no one’s done before.
I just don’t understand. Why the fuck do they not tell the truth to the people of Silo?
It all feels like a big city life, not It’s just a ducking village, the number of people they do have. Ten thousand people, it’s what? A small neighbourhood in any city? Everyone knows everyone.
If there are so many other silos, and there is a chance for war, especially with others, why not be the most organised society where everyone knows the truth? At this point, it does not make much sense. It appears that they have been telling the truth, the officials. The outside is poisonous.
Then why,
- why cleaners are shown the false image of the healthy outside?
- why do they repress those who seek truth? Why not just tell it to them? What’s the point in lying to them?
