Stuck in a small Appalachian town, a young woman’s only escape from the daily grind is playing advanced video games. She is such a good player that a company sends her a new video game system to test…but it has a surprise in store. It unlocks all of her dreams of finding a purpose, romance, and glamour in what seems like a game…but it also puts her and her family in real danger.
The worst thing I watched so far. Mediocre.
A couple of thoughts from that:
- is the book as bad?
- Is William Gibson a hoax? I have never read anything of him. I thought he should be a talented writer, but this thing is very low-quality piece of shit. If not, this TV series rather made him a disservice.
- Is Neuromancer also a pathetic piece of shit?
- Will the TV show be as bad too?
- Westwood produced by the same directors, is it equally bad? I thought of watching it, but now I surely won’t. I’d cancel them for myself, these people aren’t able to produce quality.
