Ground control to Major Tom.
He took the red one? The car 🚗 Sounds too Republican to me! In a negative way!
It’s so beautiful. Hnat likes it. We made our little boy not sleeping! This late at night! Is almost 11 PM. He yells at me that I must unpause the film. I didn’t pause it (at that very moment), was just a connection issue and buffering for a couple of seconds. But it’s funny, I thought he’s sleeping already, while he was watching it too.
Poor little boy. What a bunch of parents he got.
We had that thing again later, so he decided he’s done watching, and he turned on his other side, and went sleeping. He knows his limits very well, unlike his dad. I’m proud of him. He never overeats, and he knows when to stop. That’s a great skill to have, especially at four.
Sean Penn?! The photographer?
Beautiful things don’t ask for attention.
That’s beautiful. That’s very beautiful.
Review
And the film is beautiful. That is so pre-Severance to me. He even got his severance package there. The style is just so good, it’s so good, I’m slapping a masterpiece into it, without a single moment of hesitation.
For a long time, there two covers bothered me, they have the same vibe. When I saw that Severance poster, I’d got these Mittyesque vibes.
That’s a masterpiece. I remember Mike getting me to watch this with him, back in 2013. We watched it in original, and I did not understand everything back then. But I liked the film nevertheless.
Oddly, I forgot most of it. Why is that? Am I having such a bad memory? Well, more likely it’s just something not too significant. I had a lot within these last 12 dozen of years.
Today, I understood pretty much everything. And more than that, I understand the whole corporation environment, the life situations, the work, the life plans, many things.
Ben Stiller is a very talented director. I am not sure about the actor — I don’t mean he’s not! I just don’t know how to evaluate actors properly. I think he’s good, and is very talented — but the director part … he’s very good. He has his style.
I’m pronouncing this movie as my favourite so far. I’m not having any favourite movies, I’m not that kind of a guy. But if there are those that I like, I see them as masterpieces. I think this one is one of them. I’m happy it haunted me, and made me rewatch itself.
I think we’re going to watch it again, with Hnat. Probably many times. It’s perfectly suitable to watch with kids, it’s beautiful and non-aggressive.
