Very strange feeling, I’d say even unique. I won’t call this piece a masterpiece. Yet, I won’t call it mediocre either. I cannot say I recommend it. It’s like my tags go: I like it, and it’s stylish.
There’s some special atmosphere in there. Yet, it’s not too special. I cannot say I was fully emerged, I was even bored sometimes. I think they could do much better. And then it would be very good, possibly.
There are seasons 2 and 3 announced, according to the internet. Honestly, I don’t know what to say about it: at one hand, I think it’s sad they’ll make this series a cash cow. At the other hand, why not? The primary value of this TV series is the atmosphere. Which they can evolve for as many episodes as they like, even a thousand.
I don’t regret the time I spent on this (well, a bit), but I won’t say you should watch it. It’s rather not my cup of tea, with the exception of Japan and Asian culture, which I adore. To some degree.
