I’ve bought a projector on Monday, Sep 14. Now, I mark the films we watch with it with its special tag.
I marked all other films retroactively:
- iPad Pro 13, 1st Gen. (2015) was our primary device since I’ve bought it in April 2024.
- 32" Samsung Display (bought in 2024) which is a computer display.
- Before 2024 I’ve used Apple Cinema LED Display 27". It was our primary device since 2021. I thought it was dead, but it wasn’t. Now it’s my Farm Office primary display, but I never watch anything from there.
- for TV, I used 32" Samsung TV (piece of shit one) and some other 42" since 2019 till 2021.
- I decided I won’t separate them, in retrospect, it doesn’t matter much which TV was used. If we’d ever buy a TV (little chance), I’d put inside this tag too.
- I watched everything from a laptop since 2011 till 2019. These days, it’s very infrequently I use a notebook for films.
- We used Solomia’s MacBook Air 15" M4 (2025) in June 2026. A marvellous device!
- Before that, all laptop views were from MacBook Pro 13" of 2014.
- And before 2014, it was my MacBook Pro 13" of 2011.
- Cinema is the real cinema theatre. I’m a very occasional visitor. These days it’s a quest to visit cinema, as our autistic daughter does not like it at all, and frankly I don’t enjoy cinemas too much too. I’d rather build a proper home theater.
This month, I watched mostly AppleTV, with their ongoing blockbuster shows:
- Ted Lasso, s04
- Dark Matter, s02
- Slow Horses, s06
- Silo, s03e10, the final s03 episode (almost a masterpiece)
